This vintage is made with the grapes of a massal selection of Sauvignon Blanc planted on a plot of sandy gravels, another plot of clay gravels and a third one of kimmeridgian marl (limestone & clay), and fermentation is triggered using indigenous yeasts. All of this brought together gives elegant and delicate wines, unctuous with flavours of ripe white fruit of pear.
Great wine at the aperitif.
“Nez de brioche grillé, bouche ronde et corpulente” –Médaille d’Or, Concours Général Agricole de Paris
Best to enjoy between 2 and 5 years if you wish to keep the freshness of the Sauvignon. Although our wines do keep longer!

A colour of amber-green silky highlights. A nose with notes of citrus fruit (Kaffir lime), slightly candied, with a mineral flint-like touch. In the mouth, the attack is soft, delicate and unctuous. Dense at first, a silky acidity then invades the palate, yet again reminding the flavours of citrus fruit and pear. A beautiful length and freshness, ending in a hint of peppermint, bring aromatic persistence.
Wine and food pairing
To enjoy at the aperitif with a fish terrine, as well as with a slightly spicy Bo Bun. It will also go perfectly with seafood and shellfish, grilled fish, asparagus or even goat cheese (crottin de Chavignol & Valençay AOCs…).
