Why not try an alcoholic fermentation of the grape skin of Pinot Gris in Reuilly? Well, we tried it and here’s the result! The orange colour of this Pinot Gris, more intense than that of our AOC Reuilly Gris Les Demoiselles Tatin, comes from the skin fermentation. A powerful nose with notes of very ripe fruit. It’s also to the skin fermentation that it owes its structured and powerful final, leaving bitter touches of bloody orange in the mouth. The final is tannic and spicy due to the infusion of the Pinot Gris berries during alcoholic fermentation and enveloped in a creamy sweetness.

📝 Wine tasting notes
« Almost a white wine in both color and white-fruit flavors, this suggests fresh apples and the merest hint of red fruits. Bright and fresh, it is ready to drink. », comment by ROGER VOSS Wine Enthousiast.
