Our story

A family venture

The Domaines Tatin is first and foremost a family and human venture, a place of welcome and encounters, from which you will leave with hearts and hands full!

We grow 25 hectares on Quincy and 10 hectares on Reuilly thanks to our team of 15 employees.

We share the need to shape quality wines into various cuvées, more typical of the appellation for some, more out of the ordinary for others. We wish to make you discover as many tastes and flavours as possible!

Chantal WILK and Jean TATIN took over the cereal farm of Jean’s father, Raymond Tatin, in 1988. Along with the cereals, they started growing and selling locally Berry strawberries and sweetcorn.

Then they discovered the wine-growing potential of their region, and, wanting to take up new challenges and embark on something for their area, they created the wine estates at the beginning of the Nineties – Domaines Le Tremblay and Les Ballandors. Thus, they took part in the renewal of the AOC Quincy, and founded the Cave Romane in Brinay with other winegrowers. And so, the first white wines of the Domain were born.

In 2002, they planted Pinot Noir vines in Reuilly on a plot that had been in Jean’s maternal family since 1873, delighted to be able to produce red wine. Then the Pinot Gris arrived, to colour the Domain pink!

After this, they embarked on a project to renovate the stables at the Tremblay farm, to create their own cellars and a gite.

Their third daughter, Maroussia WILK TATIN, joined them in 2010, and together they decided to plant Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc to make Mam’Zelles Bulles: a natural sparkling wine which goes perfectly with the famous Tarte Tatin!
