(Price per bottle: sent in boxes of 6 bottles)

The Clos de la Victoire in Quincy was planted at the end of the sixties on clay gravels. The rooting of this vine is very regular.

The wines are always very well-balanced, floral and highlighted with touches of mineral iodine.

In line with Sucellus and the Vieilles Vignes, the Terroirs Collection is declined in 4 distinct vintages, each of them coming from the plot of old vines and vinified in oak barrels aged of 7 and 8 years, using wild yeasts.

Wine tasting notes

Nice mineral intensity moving from a smokey flavour, to a saline touch of iodine. The second nose opens up on candied citrus fruit aromas.
In the mouth, it has a powerful and rich attack, slighty smoked. Wine with a very elegant slender matter.

« The wine has a pale lemon-yellow color. The nose offers concentration and complexity. It expresses notes of fresh golden apple, lemon peel, grapefruit jam, pineapple in syrup, yellow peach, as well as white flowers (acacia, apple blossom), a touch of nutmeg, fresh walnuts, white flowers (dried field flowers, dried linden), as well as a fine touch of pan-fried quince and roasted apple, as well as acacia honey and beeswax in the base. On the palate, the wine offers smoothness, a certain richness and complexity. It expresses notes of candied lemon, fresh golden apple (and more slightly – roasted apple), yellow peach, juicy apricot, passion fruit, as well as roasted quince, dried field flowers, dried linden, honey, beeswax, cumin and hay in the background. The finish is quite persistent, with a refreshing acidity. Score : 15.25/20 (90/100) » (Vert de Vin n°23, juillet 2023)
