This vintage is elaborated from the vines that are roughly 20 years’ old and that grow on a terroir dominated by the sandy gravels of the Cher valley, which gives vivid, dashing, swift and elegant wines, sprinkled with sparkles of citrus fruit.
A fine, delicate and complex nose: the first nose reveals a slight vegetal hint closely followed up by nice ripe fruit (white peach) and a small touch of minerality in the end. In the mouth, the attack is fresh on notes of grapefruit and candied lemon. Its vividness, its sharpness give in to unctuosity and a beautiful minerality. The superb final, on fine bitter flavours, will ravish your saline meals!
« A fine nose with citrus aromas of lemon and pink grapefruit. The palate reveals fine acidity with fruity notes, accompanied by salinity and freshness on the finish. », tasting comment at the Concours Mondial du Sauvignon 2026 (Silver Medal, vintage 2025)
« The shiny pale yellow colour opens up to an intense and flattering nose which associates scents of flowers to those of exotic fruit (passion fruit, mango) and it gets richer with nuances of “Arlequin” sweeties. The mouth’s vivid attack offers fleshy sensations, unctuosity, a good-balanced freshness, as well as fruity aromas (grapefruit, pineapple) which persist in a crisp, elegant and long finish. A very beautiful Quincy. », tasting comment at the Concours des Ligers 2025 (Liger Or, vintage 2024)
« This Quincy delicately and sparingly reveals notes of lime, citrus zest, and blackcurrant bud. The palate is crisp on the attack, imbued with a pronounced acidity that lingers through to the finish, with its lemony undertones. A vibrant character, typical of this sunny vintage, makes it a perfect pairing for seafood. », tasting comment in Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2024 (vintage 2023)
