There\u2019s Berry much to do<\/strong> within an hour\u2019s drive from the gite! Whether you\u2019re fond of sport or more leisurely activities, a culture vulture or a wine-lover, you won\u2019t be disappointed<\/strong>! There\u2019s a lot of information on\u00a0https:\/\/www.berryprovince.com\/<\/a> or at the tourist office in Vierzon.\u00a0<\/p>

– After you\u2019ve tasted Quincy and Reuilly from the Domain, you can move on to the Cave Romane de Brinay<\/strong><\/a> or to the Villa Quincy<\/a><\/strong>, two must-see sites where you\u2019ll get to taste the Quincy\/Reuilly wines made by the other winegrowers of the appellations. Then take the time to visit the Romanesque church in Brinay<\/strong> with its wonderful frescos, and stroll around the Jardin Labyrinthe des Vignes<\/strong> (the maze garden of vines), or go on one of the walks<\/a> at the heart of our vineyards and wine villages<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

– Our friends and neighbours make good wine too! Go to Ch\u00e2teaumeillant<\/strong>, the most recent Centre-Loire AOC to discover their wines made with Gamay and Pinot Noir grapes. If you haven\u2019t got the time, you\u2019ll find them at the Cave Romane in Brinay, 3Km from our gite. If you\u2019re a gourmet, stop off to buy and hunt for truffles with a producer<\/strong> near Lapan (only in winter). Take a look at the musical programme of Les Bains Douches in Ligni\u00e8res<\/strong>, for a concert to liven up your evening on the way back!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

– There are lots of chateaux and magnificent buildings<\/strong> in the area: don\u2019t miss the most famous ones \u2013 Chambord and Chenonceau<\/strong> castles, Bourges cathedral, Jacques C<\/strong>\u0153<\/strong>ur\u2019s palace, Noirlac Abbey<\/strong>\u2026<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

All this gives just few ideas of what you can do in and around the Berry region\u2026 There are lots of restaurants worth discovering, offering colourful cuisine!<\/strong> The closest to the Domain are Le<\/strong> Firmament,<\/strong> with simple and tasty cooking, on the edge of the lake, a sacred setting at Le Prieur\u00e9<\/strong> in Vignoux-sur-Barangeon, the iconic restaurant of C\u00e9lestin Girard, Les Petits Plats de C\u00e9lestin<\/strong> in Vierzon or Les 3 C\u00e9pages<\/strong> in Reuilly.
